It was popular from the mid 1900's through the early 20th century, upper class families regularly commissioned studios to hand-color photographic enlargements with pastel and watercolor.

Here we have a young girl done in that procedure that is well over 100+ years old and torn into three pieces. No back story was given as to how this happen. The client only wanted it repaired and that was Deb's job.
